The wind power plants are plants that use the wind speed for the production of electrical energy but require an electric motor designed to run a generator. Their principle of operation is quite simple, the basic module of a wind power plant is the wind generator, consisting of a propeller attached to a shaft to which is keyed the current generator.

The propeller and the generator are normally placed at heights so as to be crossed by the winds, putting in rotation the propeller drive the generator so that it produces energy.
The wind turbines can be of various sizes and are predominantly used in power plants normally composed of numerous generators whose powers are variable.
