Specifics: OMVK series IC611 medium voltage; 1050 Kw at 3000 rpmOME Motors has built 6 medium voltage motors for air compressors of the Samsung brand used in one of the largest copper mines in Iran Babak Copper. Those built by the Brescia-based company are high-speed motors of large dimensions, characterized by a low level of vibrations and capable of ensuring maximum stability to the compressor. The latter, in fact, is located on a mobile unit where vibrations can compromise its performance and its efficiency. For this reason it was important for OME to carefully design the motor, implementing stability and minimizing vibrations. The medium voltage and high speed motors supplied by OME Motors are used in combination with Samsung compressors to enable the correct circulation of oxygen inside the plant and the mine.
