Servomotors
OME Motors servo motor: high efficiency for industrial use
An electric servo motor is composed of:
- A synchronous motor, or an asynchronous motor, or a DC motor (it is not the drive principle that distinguishes these motors from each other, but only their adjustment possibilities), in charge of generating the movement through the shaft.
- A rotating shaft.
- A position sensor of the axis orientation angle (very often a potentiometer).
- An electronic card for controlling the position of the axis and the control of the motor. The movement of the servo motor is controlled by sending electrical impulses.
A servo motor is able to wait for preset positions in the instructions given to it and can therefore maintain them. An electric servo motor has the advantage of being controlled in an angular position: even if it encounters an obstacle in its way - which would change the direction of its trajectory - the servo motor will try to maintain its position. For precise position adjustment, the motor and its setting are equipped with a measuring system that determines the current position.
OME Motors has conceived a range of servo motors, able to satisfy all market needs. The two types in which a servo motor can be divided, in particular, are: synchronous and asynchronous motor.
Each industrial servo motor is designed and manufactured by OME Motors according to the latest technical knowledge on the subject: the innovation and continuous research of the Orsatti Group translate into maximum quality and efficiency of a servo motor. Each OME Motors servo motor also meets European standards and is, at the same time, available at a very advantageous price from a vast network of European and international distributors.

OME Motors servo motor: a real servant of industry
Also called a servo, an industrial servo motor - as an actuation device for precise control of speed, torque and position - has better performance and precision than actuators based on frequency converters, since the latter do not offer position control and have a low efficacy at low speeds.
An electric servo motor is an autonomous electric device, which rotates the parts of a machine with high efficiency and precision. The output of this motor can be moved to a particular angle, position and speed, a possibility that a normal motor does not have. A servo motor uses a normal motor and is coupled with a sensor for positional feedback: it is designed and built specifically for this purpose. In other words, an electric servo motor is a closed-circuit mechanism that incorporates position feedback in order to control rotational or linear speed and position. The motor is controlled with an electrical signal - either analogue or digital - which determines the quantity of movement that represents the final command for the tree.
An OME Motors industrial servo motor allows you to create all types of controlled movements and is, without a doubt, an important turning point in the development of new technologies. The wide range available in our proposal is distinguished by construction technologies and power range, also OME Motors is able to create customized servo motors based on precise technical specifications.
