The OMSRV-S series motor is a permanent magnet brushless AC synchronous servomotor.

The synchronous servo motor is made up of a stator, permanent magnet rotor and high resolution encoder (such as resolver or incremental encoder). The rotor is a cylinder fixed on its rotation axis and held in position by ball bearings; extremely powerful magnets are mounted on it which generate a static magnetic field. The stator is a hollow cylinder which contains the rotor; inside there are windings through which the currents that rotate the rotor pass.

The synchronous servo motors of the OMSRV-S series can be used in many applications, such as machine tools, textile machines, plastics machines, printing machines, plate printing machines, manipulation of robots, machines for processing wood, special purpose machines.
